Artists Statement

I am proud to have been one of the many Illustrators for the Orion Newspaper Opinions Section in Spring 2016, an award-winning publication from CSU Chico. Illustrating for the sex column, as well as, studying sex and gender issues for an upper-division writing proficiency class, I learned a great deal and understand more of the great diversity in issues surrounding gender and sexuality. Most importantly, I became educated about the social issues that the LGBTQ community face in our American Society.  Mastering digital media in various software, including the most recent version of Photoshop, with the Wacom Tablet, here are a few illustrations from my graduating year:
